Injury Forces Marco Reus To Withdraw From Germany’s Squad

Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus will miss Germany’s games against the Netherlands and France through injury.

Marco Reus withdrew from Germany’s squad for their upcoming Nations League games after picking up a knee injury.

Reus played the full 90 minutes in Dortmund’s dramatic 4-3 Bundesliga win over Augsburg on Saturday, but will now sit out his country’s clashes against the Netherlands and France next week.

There were few surprises in Low’s squad for the double-header, with Schalke striker Mark Uth the only new face.

Low said of that decision: “We’ve been watching Mark Uth for a while now. He is dynamic, fast and offers a goal threat. Now we want to get to know him better.”
