Arsenal super star challenges Usain Bolt

Spanish full back Hector Bellerin is no slouch across the field and aims to take it to the next level as the Arsenal speedster challenges to a sprint.

The full-back got the attention of the world when he broke teammate Theo Walcott’s 40m club sprint record.

Arsenal fans have enjoyed watching the 21 year old fly up and down the right wing and have widely speculated that he could well be as fast as the Jamaican sprint legend.

During a Q&A session at the Puma FC Herzo collection in London where he was the face of the event, Bellerin answered questions about the possibility of him and Bolt going head to head.

He said: ”It’s not me you have to ask, I’ve been waiting for that phone call from Jamaica.
”I challenged him a while ago and he said maybe after Rio. So I’m just waiting now, need to push him.”

Usain Bolt thumped

The Jamaican sprinter picked up 3 gold medals on the track at the just concluded Rio 2016 Olympics. He became an unprecedented ‘triple-triple’ Olympic champion and is regarded as the fastest sprinter ever.

He has however announced his retirement from the tracks and is looking to start a family after he proposed to his longtime girlfriend.

The possibility of the two going head to head is mouth watering and would make for a good charity/fundraising event.

The Arsenal ranks can boast of more than just one speed demons which would somewhat threaten the Jamaican.
Bellerin also said: ”We have a quick team full of speedsters, I think it’s really important in the game now.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain always says he wants to race me and Theo but it never really happens”

The Arsenal right back looks to have cemented his position in the first team, out-placing senior players like Mathieu Debuchy and Carl Jenkinson.
Arsene Wenger’s men look to better their second place position from last season and win the league this campaign for the first time in 12 years.
